Feasibility Studies

G.I.P.R.I. provides studies intended to evaluate both technical feasibility and economic benefit of projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Renewables areas, whether concerning “brown-fields” or operations implemented to make better the perfomance of existing plants or sections of plants; moreover G.I.P.R.I. takes care of the issue of all documents necessary to the Client to decide how to underake the Project and to prepare the relevant Request For Quotation to be sent to the potential suppliers.

Project Management

This is definitely the core business of G.I.P.R.I.: our multi-disciplinary team of experts, actually, is capable to handle the whole project in all its phases, carefully evaluating all aspects and constantly supporting Client step by step. Once awarded the order, Project Manager takes personally care of the job and interacts both externally (with Client and sub-suppliers) and internally (with technicians, managers, collaborators who support him in all different phases) until the start-up of the plant/package/unit.

Process, basic and detailed engineering

G.I.P.R.I. team is composed by technicians and professionals of proven experience of the sector. Thanks to different but combined capabilities, the team can provide the whole design of product/plant to be realized, starting from process and technology to be applied, through basic engineering, til detailed engineering (whether internally implemented, or produced by making use of sub-suppliers or partners in out-sourcing, anyway always under the supervision of G.I.P.R.I. staff). This occurs both for mechanical and for eletrical, instrumental, automation part, up to civil engineering, which is the only one that G.I.P.R.I. gives entirely in outsourcing, altough by handling and supervising all phases.

Procurement and related services

This is a quite delicate phase of the project: in fact, just carrying out a correct procurement is possible to make targeted purchases for the specific project, as are selected the sub-suppliers who can grant to the Client products/services/components with the best balance of quality to price. G.I.P.R.I., according to the needs of Client, might either take personally care of procurement or act on EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management) basis; in the latter case, Client decides the suppliers to work with and makes directly the final purchase of components, but he acts by following the previous selection operated by G.I.P.R.I. among at least 3 recommended suppliers, along with a detailed and commented offer for each component.

Pre-fabrication, construction and implementation of the product

G.I.P.R.I. assures the best operative solution of the unit/plant according to Client needs: typically components and packages/skids/modules are pre-fabricated in qualified workshops (detaining all necessary certifications); these are then carried on site. Construction and implementation of the unit, with relevant mounting and assembling, takes place on site, by making use both of G.I.P.R.I. staff for supersivion to the work, and of personnel coming from sub-suppliers that, especially for projects realized abroad, are pre-selected among local companies operating in the sector and duly qualified.

Start-up in its various phases

Once product/plant have been realized, G.I.P.R.I. staff, working close with the sub-suppliers previously selected for the different sections of the plant involved in the project, takes responsibility for pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up and test-run of the unit. These phases are necessary before the final supply of the “turn-key” or of the package, which will typically interface with the other plants that are part of the Refinery, Depot or anyway of the industrial complex where the unit will be located, through control and supervision systems and software specifically implemented.

Personnel training

G.I.P.R.I. takes also care of the personnel coming from Client; such personnel will have to handle unit/plant assuring the perfect functioning, and by minimizing the possible shut downs. This is possible also thanks to the Manual that G.I.P.R.I. issues at the end of the project, which is comprehensive of all necessary information for an efficient management of the unit/plant.

Maintenance services

G.I.P.R.I., upon request, can support Client even for the maintenance of the supplied plant. Through the so called “Maintenance Engineering”, G.I.P.R.I. grants the longevity of the plant and identifies the improvements that might be done ongoing, throughout revamping operations tailor-made. This occurs both on plants which design and implementation have been entirely done by G.I.P.R.I. and on units which have been realized by other suppliers.

After-Market

After-market, in our field of activities, means not just the capacity of the supplier to support Client by providing him with high reliability products/components (and by dealing with sub-supplier in order to solve possible problems or failures), but even the availability of a team capable to give tailor-made “Maintenance services” (please see above). G.I.P.R.I., further than providing such services, also performs studies/researches with the aim to identify the marketability of a given final product on the Client reference market, as well as the time which will be necessary to recover the initial investment.
